  • Overview

    Under the supervision of the Quality Management Director, this position is responsible for all aspects of the quality management program in DePaul Adult Care Communities located in North and South Carolina.









    1. Implementation of the DACC NC Quality Management Plan within the organization.
    2. Incident Management – review incident reports and evaluate incident reports for trends that require consultation, training and follow-up.
    3. Conduct incident investigations and provide investigation summaries to the Director of Quality Management.
    4. Responsible for facility audits to include: Individual record audits, physical plant audits, dietary audits, activity audits and all other audits as related to certification, licensure and billing.
    5. Participate in mock survey audits with written summary and recommendations as directed.
    6. Participate and support the implementation of Risk Management activities throughout the agency.
    7. Participate in the facilitation of resident feedback for quality improvement purposes including the annual Resident Satisfaction Survey.
    8. Review and follow-up to consumer, family members and other providers’ concerns/complaints.
    9. Participate in organization-wide Quality Improvement functions as determined appropriate.
    10. Participate in gathering information for ReportIt investigations as assigned.
    11. Assist as requested in the development of Policy and Procedure.
    12. Provide support to the Quality Management Director and Vice President as requested.
    13. Participate in Quality Management team planning meetings as requested.
    14. Performs all other duties as assigned.


    1. At the request of the Quality Management Director perform resident related consultation including but not limited to: resident reviews, treatment team meetings, risk management meetings, and crisis intervention and planning.
    2. Provide consultation as requested regarding employee related issues related to resident care.



    1. Must possess the ability to remain objective and provide honest feedback to the programs in a professional manner.                                                                                                                                
    2. Familiar with the HIPAA privacy regulations as well as all applicable federal, state and local laws and regulations regarding confidentiality and privacy.                                                                            
    3. Good verbal and written skills, organizational skills and attention to detail.

    Education and Experience:


    Registered Nurse, Licensed Practical Nurse, Licensed Health Care professional in related field with experience in long term care, Bachelor’s degree with 3 years’ experience in long term care preferred. Individuals experienced in long term care and knowledgeable of the North Carolina and South Carolina State Rules and Regulations governing Assisted Living facilities,




    Valid driver’s license – travel required. Must meet DePaul’s Clean Driving Record Policy




    Ability to move freely (standing, stooping, walking, pushing and pulling) and lift up to a maximum of 50 pounds without assistance.
